How To Fight Your Bears

Updated: Dec 22, 2022

Bears are some of the most powerful creatures in the world. But did you know you have the power and authority to conquer the bears in your life ? Continue reading to find out how to conquer a bear.

We may have heard the story of David and Goliath. However I read David’s story again recently a few times and I noticed this scripture:

“And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:” 1 Samuel 17:34 King James Version

The word of God tells us the story of David and how he told Saul he was qualified to kill a giant (long story short matter of fact read 1 Samuel 17 the whole chapter for context).

As I read that I thought wow God was really with David against Goliath but to know as a youth David fought a lion and bear really blew my mind on how God is with us.

Think about it , have you seen a bear or lion in real life even at the zoo? They are HUGE.

We as sons and daughters of God have the same authority as David did to slay Goliath as well as killing lions and bears!

God has given us dominion over animals as we see in Genesis 1:26 when God gave Adam power over animals.

I am learning and am still grasping the full mindset of having dominion over everything as a child of God bought with the blood of Jesus. God said it but I am still struggle in some areas if I am not meditating constantly on what God said when the enemy comes in like a flood.

These past two years have really opened me up more and more to the power and authority of the Holy Spirit within me . My identity in Christ , youridentity in Christ is what gives you the power and authority to cast out the devils, the Goliaths in your life. That power through Holy Spirit literally as we saw with David , a child the strength to kill a lion and bear .

Now I did not say go find a lion or bear (unless God tells you to)

If you see me in a fight with a bear , help the bear .
